HI!

Remember me...

Yes, it has been a while.

I'm thinking that I will start blogging regularly again, I have more available time since university has finished for the year.

I stopped blogging mainly because my camera was stuffed and it was such a bother to get going again in the last few months.

I have a new camera now thanks to the boyfriend. So, I shall post some interesting stuff soon!

Catcha then!

Hot and Not #2

Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock

I LOVE these guys together and I'm so glad they have finally came out and said they are an item.  Everyone has known for a while but its just great its finally out.  I wish these guys all the luck in the world, LOVE THEM.

True Blood - Season 4

truebloodcast1 1024x576 Season 4 Guide

I am loving the latest season of True Blood. I got a bit sick of the series in season 2 and 3 but season 4 by far has made up for them.  The story lines are wonderfully put together and the characters are better then ever.  If you haven't watched True Blood before get on the bandwagon!

Blazers

I'm getting the blazers out!  They look really good and you aren't freezeing your ass off!
They make any outfit look classy!

Eddie Murphy Hosting Oscars

I'm really glad he is hosting the 2012 Oscars next year. I have always liked Eddie Murphy, he might have made a few bad decisions in his life but who haven't!  I say 'Go Eddie, revive your career!'

Paris Hilton

Your still around?  Please no more reality shows, sex tapes, perfumes, CD's or movies!
Her latest reality show has been given the boot (YES!) and she has been spotted with so many different men lately its just not interesting anymore, I have just had enough!

Tips #2: Taking Photos

When taking photos many things can go wrong and believe me they certainly can.  If you follow my tips you will be ready to go!

*I thought I would black out my friends faces just in case they hate themselves in the photo and kill me for putting them on my blog :) love yas!*

1. Don't ever think you can fit into the photo, because you can't.

*I know because I am a repeat offender!

Sometimes its better to not be in the photo.

It just doesn't work!

2. Be careful not to blink while the photo is being taken.

*this was not a planned photo!

A double fail.

3. Make sure the flash is on when in dull light.

You might end up looking like a Simpson.

4. My Uncle always says "Don't take a photo unless someone is in it or its boring".

Even if its just a tree.

This is one of them photos where just the object would have been just fine.

5. Make sure everyone in the photo is ready and willing.

*This is the worst photo I have ever taken

What we learn from this photo is:
Make sure everyone is in the photo
Don't let a friend keep their mouth open like that
And finally wait until everyone is ready.

*Photo has more impact if faces aren't covered.

Well after this you are now an expert!  Well Done!

Hair!

Soon. Well, very soon, I will be going to the hair dresses and getting a cut and a colour.  I have not touched my hair since December last year, not sure why I have left it that long, but at the moment it needs some maintenance.

This is my current hair from a picture taken on the weekend.  You can see a massive change in colours.  The regrowth that is shown has been dyed a chocolate brown colour a few times and has turned out like that.

I think I want to go dark again though, I was really happy with it.  But I also really loved my hair when it had a purple ting to it (See Below).

I know it doesnt look that much differnt to the brown but whatevers.

I have desided to bring my hair cut insperation from this picture of Alyson Hannigan's hair.

I really like wearing my hair wavey with curls and this, I think it just beautiful.  I really like the tones she has within her hair but some of that could also be due to the flash on the camera when the picture was taken.

I have been looking at these colours.  I was able to do this at a website called www.thehairstyler.com
(The face in these picture is just a defult face not my own.)

(Brown)

(Purple)
It wouldnt be that purple.

Would love to hear feedback from everyone.  Do you like this style, colour, idea?
Do you have another idea for me?
Let me know in the comments!

I am currently reading this book as we speak and I am absolutely enjoying it.  It is the best book I have read in years.  I am so looking forward to seeing the David Fincher American version of the story when in comes out later in the year.  Watch the trailer below!

How I Met Your Mother

Source: yahoo.com.au

Season 7 of this 'love story told in revese' hits screens in the U.S in September.  I'm defiantly looking forward to this season since we are another step closer finding out who the 'mother' will be.  We know that Ted meets her at Barneys wedding which will be depicted this season.

Another interesting thing will be who Barney marries.  Will it be Robin, his ex-girlfriend or Nora his latest love interest, or could it be somebody completely different.  Only time will tell.

His time is so over, forget about him for the next few years.

Obsession of the Week

Everytime I work this song come on over the PA.

I think I spent around 2 months trying to figure out the lyrics to the song so I could type it in google and find it, but I had been coming up with all these wrong lyrics which made my job very hard.  I finally worked it out and eventually found it a few days ago.

Im really liking the clip for it as well, very creative!

It has been on repeat ever since.

ENJOY!

Tips #1: Drinking

Drinking.
A favourite past time for many.

I still have plenty of years left of enjoying the night life but being a near twenty-year-old I have had some slightly bad experiences while drinking and I will share them with you, not just because I find some of them funny but because these are a few things that while drinking and clubbing to watch out for!

1. Don't think unflattering dance moves will go un-noticed, even it was just that once.

Big brother is always watching.

2. Don't try and be clever and appear in other people photos.

At the time you will think that it is funny, but it just makes you look like an idiot.

3. Don't get plasted before you take photos early in the night.

You may end up looking like this.

4. Don't grab novelty items just because, and pose with them.

Too much fun and sometimes be too much.

5. Always remember to close your legs.. in any photo!

Not very lady like!

6. Don't drink red drinks and expect it to go un-noticed.

Red is the enemy.

7. Don't see a camera and think you have to look like you are having the best time ever.

Don't be fake, you will be punished with a shit photo.

Keep it classy ladies.
Be safe.

Obsession of the Week

Celebrity Big Brother UK 2011

I came across this checking out the news headlines on IMDB the article was on Tara Reid and how she skipped out on her honeymoon to be on Celebrity Big Brother UK 2011.  It got me thinking "Wow. I wonder who else is on this show." just because I love celebrity reality shows!  So, I hit up Wikipidea and the selection of contestants was interesting!

The housemates include:
Amy Childs - Seems really fun but ditsy.
Bobby Sabel - Seems a bit up himself
Darryn Lyons - Hate the way he dresses. He is an Australian Pap, he owns a nightclub, Homehouse in Geelong, Victoria that I was lucky enough to go to once, loved it!  It had Paparazzi photos all over the walls, looked really cool.

Jedward - These twins seem like a fun time but I will get sick of them easily.
Kerry Katona - I have heard a lot about her in the media and wasn't impressed but after watching her in this I have grown to really like her and she would probably be my favourite!
Lucien Lavscourt - He's really cute.
Paddy Doherty - Don't really care for him.
Pamela Bach - Hasselhoff - Seems likes a really fun lady.
Sally Bercow - Don't like her, she tries to hard to be young and cool.
Tara Reid - I have always liked her, seems shy though.

I really enjoyed the first episode and hopefully the rest of the show will be just as good!

Watch the following video and tell me what you think of the show? Who's your favourite?

MOVIE REVEIW: BULLY

File:Bullyposter.jpg
Bully - 2001
Director - Larry Clark
Starring - Brad Renfro, Bijou Phillips, Michael Pitt, Nick Stahl, Rachel Miner
Screenplay - Jim Schutze (Book), Zachory Long, Roger Pullis
Plot - A true story of a group of teens who kill their friend who bully's, torments and degrades them.

Bully is a film directed by controversial film director Larry Clark who directed Kids (1995) and Ken Park (2002).  He is a director that casually uses teen sex, drug and alcohol use and violence frequently through his films and Bully is no exception.

What interested me to finally see this film was the fact that it was based on a true story - the murder of Bobby Kent. True crime interests me and knowing it was a Larry Clark film it would be an interesting take on the story.

Okay, what I thought of the film.. it was pretty good.  I don't think I have ever seen a film with more nudity or sex in it, but it was a good film.  The acting was alright, Clark casted kids that were relatively unknown to make the film seem more realistic, which worked.  But the thing letting down the realistic value of the film was the amount of unrealistic sex that is presented in this film, yes I have been a teenage and yes I have had my wild nights but come on, get real, shit like that does not go down.

Brad Renfro (RIP) was the best actor in the film, he played the character of Marty very well and had many shirtless scenes which I didn't mind.  Rachel Miner played his girlfriend Lisa, she pissed me off the whole film I hated her, I don't know if it was the directors intention for the audience to hate her but gee wiz, by the end of it I wanted to punch her. Everyone else was okay.

The story flowed and developed nicely and everything was summed up in the end, nothing unfulfilled.  It was a good story to tell and I'm glad it was told.

Best Part: The development of the story.
Worse Part: Too much sex.
Memorable Quote: Derek: [shouts] Hey listen, fucker, I only helped carry the body 'cause that mafia motherfucker was gonna beat the shit out of me!

6.5/10

A lot of you may disagree with me but for some reason I don't like her very much.  I think shes a good actress and does good things for countries in poverty but I just don't like her for some reason, I don't think I can get over the whole Angelina Jolie VS Jennifer Aniston thing. I'm team Jen!

Just some fashion.

These are just a few photos of what I have been wearing the last few days.
These are just a few ideas of clothing combinations.

It's Winter in Australia but its not very cold yet, it was warm enough to wear this.   Get tights from Cotton on and a top from Supre.

On colder days a jumper and tights do fine. Jumper from Factore, single from Supre, Cotton On tights.

This was quite a sunny day so I wore jeans and a top.  Jeans from Cotton On (love the colour and they were cheap!) and top from Labratory (half price!!)  I love these colours for Summer and Spring but why not wear them in Winter haha.
